Niche: Classic pornstar, Hardcore, Retro Movies
Design: I am a big fan of Payserve's designs (they are behind both Retro Raw and Rodox). This bold setup works very well with the classic pornstar movie content, and looks great without detracting from the usability of the site.
Movies: These are DVD quality movies of all of your favorite classics. You'll find all the retro pornstar names you know and love, such as John Holmes, Seka, Ginger Lynn, Vaness Del Rio, plus a few that you might not know offhand (but you should!). There are 38 full length movies currently. You can download movies by full low and high quality WMVs, or go scene by scene.
Speed: Everything downloads quickly and loads cleanly.
Navigation: The navigation is very simple - the newest updates are shown on the main page, then you just go back through previous pages.
Originality: While there are no end to sites that offer classic pornstar movies, the clean yet very retro design of the site helps it to stand out more to me. The retro movie quality also plays a big factor in my enjoyment of the site, as I haven't seen some of these clips looking this good EVER. The experience of the crew behind Rodox really shines through here.
Overall Ease of Use: The site is simple and there is little room for confusion in browsing.
Main Draws: The steadily growing DVD quality classic pornstar movies is the main (and only) point of this site.
Updates: This is a newer site that is updated frequently. The collection is growing steadily and I'm sure that this level of updates will continue for years to come.
Bonus Fun: Two things that I really liked were the little intros to each movie, as well as showing both front and back of the original box covers.
Annoyances: It doesn't matter now, but when Retro Raw grows the lack of navigation and search options is really going to bite them in the ass and make it painful to find what you want in older updates.
Is It Worth it? If you want high quality classic pornstar movies, Retro Raw is definitely a site you will enjoy. This is all hardcore classic action with the pornos you grew up with. Let me stress that this is not a Video on Demand site - you get access to their entire collection when you join.
