Main Draw: Ron Harris is a well known and incredibly talented photographer. His work has been around a lot of familiar places, and one thing you might be instantly familiar with is Aerobisce.
Design: Dark and bold, it works nicely with the theme. I really liked the way he has the model / shoot pages set up design wise.
Navigation: This is a little confusing at first, but you'll get the hang of it fairly quickly. There is a top menu bar that lets you go to a models directory, the updates, hi – res videos, coming soon, and the support section. You get a few different options via the middle column – Ron Harris Studio, Best of the Past, Naked Power, Ron Harris Archives, Ron Harris Camera Up Close and Personal, Aerobisce.
Pictures: There are over fifty models featured here that are the focus of crisp, clear, and incredible high quality photography. Sets range from 20 pictures on up, and open in a new window. These pictures are magazine quality and style shoots, with resolutions ranging from 1000x668 and going all the way up to 4000x2500. There are over 60 shoots that are listed in the main Ron Harris section, each with several picture sets, associated high quality video, and commentary on the shoot and model. You can also download the sets in a zip file if you'd rather browse them from your computer.
Movies: The movies are in HD, are incredibly high quality (and size, so watch out dialup users!) and production value. You can see nearly every detail on these movies, which makes it very enjoyable to watch (for me at least!) You can get the 500 kbs wmv, the 1000, or the 3k HD version of the clips to stream or download. There are also Quick Time and Ipod versions of the videos available for download. (I don't own an iPod, so I can't check and see how well those ones translate over). Most photo sets have multiple videos that are recorded in 1080i HD – high quality smut at it's finest. God I love technology put to damn good use!
Speed The speed is fast and everything downloaded quickly.
Originality Ron Harris has been doing beautiful shoots of beautiful women for a great many years now. Chances are, you've seen his work whether you're aware of it or not – and now you can find it all in one place.
Overall Ease of Use The site was fairly ease to use.
Updates There are several updates per week.
Extras: Mr. Harris has made a few of his more famous shows and specials available on his site. Aerobicse is a blast from the past, and he has also started a new section called Best From the Past. This section contains high quality restored videos from many moons ago, although it does need some time to grow. You can also check out seven Playboy video specials that he has shoot for. You also get access to Ron Harris Archives with a subscription, which features more softcore work from Ron's collection.
Annoyances I don't like the fact that absolutely everything opens in new windows. I don't have too much of a problem since I use tabbed browsing, but I can see it being an issue for people. Also, the navigation is kind of weird until you get used to it (with both top and center options taking you to the same place, but with a different name). Putting up the redacted driver's licenses of the models seems slightly off for me as well.
Is It Worth it? This is a beautiful collection by one very famous photographer. If you like high quality, classy magazine style shoots, Ron Harris will do you right. There's lots of little touches of personality, along with a lot of fascinating extras that will keep you intrigued, entertained, and satisfied. Be warned though - it's pretty pricy unless you opt to go for one of the multi month plans.
